Just a little history about Howie Baptist Church. It was established as a Baptist Church in 1931. It was originally the Howie Gold Mine's Church. It was non-denominational until that time. We are very committed to helping people find Christ and experience love like no other. We are still using the original Church for a fellowship hall and youth center. We rebuilt in 1995 and are still growing. We have two services on Sunday and Bible Study on Wednesday night. Our Church is traditional in that Christ is first; everything else follows Him. It took four years to complete our new building but it was paid in full when we cut the ribbon to open for the first service, thanks to some wonderful people.
