What To Expect
Church at the Cross is a culturally diverse community of believers who have been brought together by God’s redeeming grace and by His providential guidance. In an effort to build the kingdom of God, we have joined our hands and our hearts to passionately reach Orlando, Central Florida, and the world with the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ.
Church at the Cross is a Southern Baptist church built on the inerrant truth of the Bible. Pastor Clayton Cloer preaches and teaches relevant messages from the Word of God. He preaches with enthusiasm and conviction to people in every situation and from all walks of life which helps them grow in grace and knowledge of the Word, thereby, deepening their love and devotion to Jesus Christ.
Our purpose statement affirms why we exist as a church. We believe that God has established this church with the vision and call to lead all people to KNOW CHRIST (Philippians 3:8-10), GROW IN CHRIST (2 Peter 3:17-18), and GO FOR CHRIST (Matthew 28:19-20). We desire that all people know Christ, not as a matter of acquaintance, but in an intimate relationship. We also desire that all people grow into a healthy, spiritual maturity in Him. Going for Christ finds itself in service as well as sharing the gospel both in our neighborhoods and around the world. With these three concentrations as our purpose, we strive to be obedient to Him.
